How to make brown rice and nuts bar easily at home

1. Ingredients to prepare

  • Malt
  • Coconut oil (can use rapeseed oil, sunflower oil if you like)
  • Grains of your choice: cashews, almonds, walnuts, zucchini, ...
  • Stencils, large bowl, spatula

2. How to do it

Step 1: Chop the grains (no need to crush too much, just bigger than a grain of rice)

 

Step 2: Put coconut oil and malt in the pan and stir with low heat until it turns yellow

Step 3: Shredded dried seaweed, put in a pan with a thin layer of cooking oil and stir until the seaweed is crispy.

Step 4: Mix the dried brown rice, minced cereal, seaweed and malt in a large bowl, mix well so that the ingredients are sticky and evenly absorbed into the malt.

Step 5: Spread the mixture on a tray lined with parchment paper, use a flat spatula to spread it evenly, and compact it to a thickness of about 2cm.

Step 6: Put the tray in the oven and bake at 160 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.
